L’orchestre d’hommes-orchestres (Quebec City)

Angélus is a travelling sound installation and twelve independent speakers aboard a milk truck. It is meant to be caught on the fly, to pique the curiosity of passers-by and insinuate itself into our daily life. Be on the lookout on the afternoon of May 28, as it will be driving through the streets of Quebec City’s central districts.

The curious vehicle will then take to smaller streets and crossroads as it exits the city, its peculiar set of bells jingling through little townships along Route 138 (Chemin du Roy), before reaching Montreal around June 6. During this ten-day adventure, the performers will be keeping an online travel diary, documenting daily the ordinary splendours and misfortunes of their journey.
