Text and reading setting Nadia Girard Eddahia (Quebec City)

Ten women are pressing charges against a powerful and charismatic man. To stay out of jail while awaiting his trial, the accused remains into police custody. This means long months of confinement for the mother and her son, with a sole visitor, his lawyer. Drawing her inspiration from the Jian Ghomeshi trial, the author chronicles the three characters’ tense interactions behind closed doors.
