Ideation Maxime Beauregard-Martin (Quebec City)

Two years have passed since the Quebec City mosque shooting, but Rachid’s pain still prevents him from envisioning a harmonious future in the old capital. Hurt and offended by the Charter of Quebec Values, Farah now wears the hijab as a show of solidarity. After graduating from the Conservatoire d’art dramatique de Québec, Nadia chooses to go back to her Moroccan last name. Réjean, a family man from Charlesbourg, recounts the story of his friendship at first sight with Syrian refugee Ahmad. Through a collection of testimonies, this reading invites the audience to reflect on “life together” in Quebec City.
